in 2001 i lost chubbles, we would walk in the fields near us she went off her food.... one night she just wanted to be out when i opened the door she tried to hide in the bushes when we took her to the vet he kept her in over night blood transfusion the works, couldnt save her, lovely vet, it costs an arm and a leg to have a pet in for an overnight stay, but he telephoned saying he,d take her to the pet cemetery nearby.. all taken care of.. £23. he said some kind of poisoning.. i was distraught..cried for weeks..

my friend took her cat to another vet they quoted hundreds..for treatment..
chubbles was the most beautiful placid dog id let her run rings round me on the lovely smooth bowling green..

she came to me free to a good home from a neighbour, my son said no..
we don t want or need another dog and if it comes i,m having nothing to do with it..
i took it up to his bedroom, said the pups here .. he poked his head out from under the duvvy, said take it away.. then he looked a bit closer, curiosity go the better of him.. saying ... go on then lets have a look she slept on his bed from that day on.

one of the other pups from the same litter went to a man in Durham.. he visited his relative in the street he had the dog with him, i said what did you name yours..? snozzles he said...
so that was brother and sister... snozzles and chubbles...

spotted meg in the northern echo .. collie cross £5o, darlington.
she arrived early at 5 weeks, size of a mouse..smelling of strawberry shampoo.... owners off to disney land...
the lady said she,d been in the paddling pool all afternoon with the kids...
she carried on some thing wicked with tara the sprocker i wished i hadnt ever have bought her.. delinquents.. the pair of them.... chewed my best cushions.... newspapers, the mail...
could,nt part with her now.

remember it well as it was a time 2006 i could,nt get up much at all so she laid beside the door upside down legs stretching up the wall..or sat on the pillow looking out of the window..
keeping me company.
